Santa Claus is trading in his sleigh for a fire truck! 🎅🚒 Santa will be rolling into town with the Newtown Square Fire Company at the tree lighting on December 1st! 🎄

Early Morning Upgraded Alarm

Members of Newtown Square Fire Company responded at 5:36 AM Sunday, to an early morning fire alarm at the 300 block of Bishop Hollow Road.

RIT or Rapid Intervention Team

Members of the Newtown Square Fire Company just completed a 16 hour course on “RIT Team Training.” RIT or Rapid Intervention Team is group of firefighters whose sole job at building fire is to be ready to rescue a fellow firefighter in the event he or she becomes trapped. Looking for 1940's "School Boys"

We are looking for past members, particularly those students who joined during WWII. During the war, with membership number dropping due to men being overseas to fight, the Newtown Square Fire Company voted to let Young Men aged 14 years and older join the Fire Company. This was a widespread practice for fire companies during that time. the common name for them was the "School Boys."

Hometown Heroes 5k Run
NSFC, September 08
Newtown Square Fire Company along with Radnor, Gladwyne and Llanerch fire companies and Radnor Police assisted with the Main Line Chamber of Commerce’s Main Line Run. The 5k race and 1.5-mile walk raises money to support the Main Line Chamber Foundation’s “Hometown Heroes Scholarship Fund” which provides scholarships to first responders attending college and trade schools.
